'imread' function in matlab read may types of image files .i m suppose to write a C code to read the header of a image file.how to do that?

i dont know, but i got a zip file from internet, that contains,
bitmap.h
bitmap.c
picture.bmp
it can read files(bmp files 16 bit of any size). I still have the file, but its too long to send through here, You can either use google to get it(i used the keyword bmp reader in C) or mail to me(m_gopi_m@yahoo.co.in)
